The process is super simple and very similar to Stripe.
Signup
STEP 1
When signing up you’ll be asked for First Name, Last Name, Password, Phone Number (which can be a burner) and Country.
They’ll send a verification email on the next page and also ask you to send a code to your phone number.
Verification
STEP 2
Now that we are all signed up you’ll be asked to create a business profile.
This will ask you all about your business like Name and SSN/EIN (owners).
And ofc all of your documents will be asked for in this process.
Verifying bank for payment
STEP 3
Navigate to the grid icon on the bottom left of your screen.
Addons > Enable Payments
This process will ask for your banking details and will have to match the identity of the account. You can sign into the bank to speed up the verification process but if you do AN/RN that process plus the business verification will be verified by the next day.
Topping Up
STEP 4
A business bin is what I used but you can use whatever.
When entering the card details and cardholder information then finally pressing pay was almost instantaneous.
Fresha uses their “own processor” called Fresha Payments but behind the entire thing it’s really checkout.com.
Their card fees are 1:1 to checkout.com which is 2.19% + $0.20.
Escalation
STEP 5
Exploiting their live chat feature is adamant. We want to ensure that we escalate the enablement of the “send money” button asap.
I’ve contacted them through live chat multiple times even just to ensure the account is in good standing.
I was concerned as to why my account is fully verified but the “send money” button was greyed. They told me it takes awhile but that it should be available soon, as soon as I seen that it still wasn’t I took my ass straight to the live chat yet again to complain and they indeed told me they’d escalate it, next thing you know I was able to send out.
So please use that feature, annoy them if you will.
Payout
STEP 6
If I remember correctly somewhere around 8-9 am the manual payout is enabled.
But money releases daily if set to daily at 00:00 which is midnight 12:00 am
Drop
STEP 7
The bank I used was Netspend Prepaid very very simple to open.
The money was in there the same day. Though Fresha will tell you the standard that every place says 1-2 days or 3-5 days.
